A Little bit about us before we head out~

Hi there and thank you so much for reading my very first blog! My name is Lynn Ellis and my husband, Gary, and I have decided to embark on a "Big Adventure"! Well, a big adventure for us, anyway 😀

Let me tell you a little bit about us. We have been married for twenty-seven years and together we have three boys. We lost our middle son to cancer and the other two are very handsome, grown men 💓. We have three beautiful grandkids and awesome nieces and nephews. We currently live in a little town in Idaho and have been here for the last thirteen years. Prior to Idaho, we lived in Arizona and loved it. I am a Realtor with Keller Williams and Gary is retired, although he has been know to "work" here and there. The man likes to stay busy! 

We have been talking about "snow birding" for quite awhile, and this year we can finally afford to try it. I am not going to lie, it is very nerve racking for me. Worrying about finances, etc. has definitely added a few gray hairs to this lady's head! But what the heck, you only live once so we might as well give a try. We plan to be gone for fours months, give or take.

We sold our old fifth-wheel to a friend and purchased our new toy hauler. Our thoughts were to have the back end, where the toy goes, as my office as well as a place to be able to "get away" from each other for awhile, now and then. I don't know about you, but 24-7 together sounded a little challenging 😂. We then decided that we should probably have a toy to go in the toy hauler! We are going to be in some really cool areas that have tons of awesome riding trails, so we kind of had to do it...right?! I am really excited about exploring in it and meeting new friends to go on rides with. 

We have a semi-plan, which sounds crazy, I know, but part of the fun for us is to not really have any set destinations. That being said, we do have our first destination planned. We are heading to some very good friends of ours in Prescott Valley, AZ. Not really sure how long we will stay with them. My guess is that they will talk us into having Thanksgiving with them and then we will head to our second stop, which right now is Alamo Lake, AZ. I will make sure to have links in future entries for all our locations so that you can get a really good idea of where we are. And of course, tons of pictures and videos! 

This is my very first time blogging, so if you have any advice that would be greatly appreciated! Be ready for some typo's, lots of emotions and hopefully, some super interesting info and insights. If you know of any cool things to do, great places to eat, places that we HAVE to visit, please let us know! That is one of the main reasons I wanted to do a blog, so load us up on fun stuff to see, do and eat (we both like to consider ourselves foodies, lol!)
