Weeks Eleven and Twelve
We made it to three months! I decided to do weeks eleven and twelve together, as much of the same old same old was happening. I still cannot get enough of Arizona's unbelievably gorgeous sunsets. Each one seems to out do the last!
One morning, I was sitting at my work space and heard an engine. Not an odd thing, as side by sides and ATV's are constantly roaming around, but this one sounded different. I looked out the window and saw this guy!
I think those powered parachutes are super cool! He went way out over the lake and all around. Imagine the view! I would do it in a heart beat!
I ordered some cute (to me, anyway!) signs for the camper off of Amazon and I love them! They just add a little more character to our "home". My poor brother-in-law (you know, the one that won't let me post any pictures of him) has been inundated with Amazon deliveries. Between Gary and I, we keep the packages coming his way!

The weather has been absolutely amazing! Deb, Lisa and I decided to really take advantage of it one day and packed a cooler and our chairs (Deb brought her fishing pole) and headed to the lake for the afternoon. There were a bunch of dead Tilapia on the shore and I guess, from what I learned, they were dying because of the water being too cold (we had a little bit of a cold snap for a couple of days. I think it got down in the 40's!). Well, the living tilapia were swimming super close to shore, to warm up, and Deb took advantage of it! She caught four big ones with...wait for it....HER HANDS!!!! Crazy! Needless to say, we had a fish fry that night and it was delicious! My husband knows his way around fish fries, let me tell 'ya!
WE HAVE MOVED! We are over near
Florence, AZ, We are still in the desert and I would say this place is not going to be "home" for very long. We came this way because we are spending Super Bowl Sunday with Gary's brother and sister- in-law, who live in Gilbert, AZ, and Dillon flew into Mesa Gateway Airport for another visit! Yay! The place we are camped at now is a big area for side-by-sides and four wheeler riding and they are EVERYWHERE! So, you can imagine the noise and the dirt. Plus, there is no lake and no bar to ride the side-by-side to...boo hoo! Oh well, we are going to go exploring while Dillon is here and plan our next move! Here is some shots of our new spot to give you an idea of where we are. Those are the
Superstition Mountains in the distance.

It is so nice having Dillon here with us again for a little bit! We took a ride down a gas pipeline trail and there are a TON of geocaches on it! We found four of them and I think there are twenty-one more. It was lots of fun and perfect weather.
There is something about the moon in the desert. For some reason, it just seems bigger and brighter. Normally, moon pictures never turn out, at least for me anyway. Dillon showed me some tricks with my phone and I think this one came out pretty good!
We saw another powered parachute in our new spot and I still think they are so cool! This guy actually buzzed me and Dillon and then came back around and waved at us! Pretty cool!
I hope you have an amazing week and that everything goes your way. Thanks for taking time to read and please share with anyone you think might enjoy hearing about our crazy life and our Big Adventure. Have a good one and I'll talk at ya later 😎
